Yesterday evening with the help of Bradley was spent sneaking round abandoned RAF Folkingham, a WW2 base thats been derelict for quite years now. However, amazingly, the base has been left to rot and the runway covered in over 300 disused vehicles. It's the most incredible place i've ever visited, hands down! These everything from tractors and vans to gigantic 60 tonne cranes. It's hard to describe just how eery it was there, needless to say both me and Brad absolutely wet ourselves!
All of it was in aid of my photoshoot for the vinyl cover project, but this meant returning at night! Anyway Brad and I waited patently until the cover of dark, headed back to the airfield and were quickly chased away by a large scary security man and his dog...standard.
Needless to say I didn't get my photos, though I did snap a quick'un before we fled (soon to follow). I'd like to send my appreciation for Bradley Bell for putting up with all of it!
