This week started a motion graphic project using after effects, its quite a basic concept, animating type to a vocal recording, but hopefully with another 3 weeks i'll have the chance to make it a lot more interesting that the original brief. All in all i'm really excited, I started learning the software yesterday and it seems manageable. As an audio clip I have taken the ending monologue from 1950's B-movie 'The Incredible Shrinking Man'.
The Story follows Scott Carey, a man who begins to shrink due to the exposure of radiation and insecticide. Soon he's only 6 inches tall and still shrinking, the film follows his struggle for survival against his cat and a menacing giant spider.
